“There’s No Love In The City” – Portable Speaks After Release (Video)

Controversial music artist, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has come out to speak on the lessons he learned following his travail with the law.

The artist who was granted bail after meeting all the conditions set before him by Ogun state magistrate court explained that the few days he spent behind bars have thought him a lot.

The journey that almost led Portable to jail started after he assaulted the police officers who came to arrest him in his bar. After being ‘arrested’ 72 hours later, the artist was brought before the Ogun state magistrate court on several charges. Luckily, he was granted bail and narrowly missed spending time behind bars.

Speaking further on the incident Portable expressed appreciation to God for showing him mercy and also to friends and fans who stood by him during the trying times.

According to him, the incident has taught him never to rely on any friend on the street. Portable launched into a motivational speech, saying there’s no love in the streets and everyone should learn to be themselves.

“No friend, there is no love in the city. Be your self, trust only God”.
