Actor Idris Elba has shared his thoughts on social media and the high rate of cyberbullying experienced on the apps. In a post shared on his Instagram page, the actor said social media should verify all users with their government-approved IDs.
According to the TV personality, public figures get verified across various social media platforms to prove their identity and so everyone knows who is talking. He shared that cowards are being protected on these apps are protected with a veil of privacy and secrecy leaving others to suffer public bashing. Idris explained that if cowards want to drop racist comments then they should do it with their names and not usernames.
