A young bullied a seven-year-old boy into having sex with her in a school bathroom yards away from their teacher, a lawsuit has claimed. The boy was led inside the toilet cubicle by his male classmate and a schoolgirl while they were all in the first grade, an attorney said. One inside, the seven-year-old boy was forced into performing sexual acts on the male and female students, according to the lawsuit. He was also allegedly coerced into having sex with the little girl before they all returned to their seats at Shalimar Elementary School in Florida. The sexual assault is alleged to have taken in the bathroom located inside his classroom while a teacher was nearby, WKRG reported. Attorney Aaron Watson, who is representing the seven-year-old boy’s family, is filing a lawsuit which alleges the school was negligent in supervising the first grade students in the classroom. The lawsuit states the boy “was forced by a male student and a female student to enter a restroom that was located inside (his) classroom. Specifically, the complaint alleges that a seven-year-old male student was the subject of sexual bullying in which he was coerced into a school restroom and forced to engage in sexual acts, with two other students, including sexual intercourse.” The boy’s family is seeking compensation for issues including “current and future emotional distress, depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, mental anguish, and medical, therapeutic, and psychiatric expenses.” Now aged eight, the boy is being home schooled. The lawsuit claims Okaloosa County school board failed to provide “reasonably safe conditions and supervision” to the young boy and other students. “When we take our kids to school, we expect a certain level of supervision,” the family’s attorney said. Steve Horton, spokesman for the Okaloosa County School District, said the district would not comment on pending litigation.Photo Credit: Getty
