The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Farouq, and the Chief Of Air Staff, Air Marshall Sadique Abubakar have reportedly tied the knots.
This is coming about a year after the Minister made headlines for being the potential bride to President Muhammadu Buhari.
As reported by Daily Trust, the couple have been together for a while now and got married last Friday, 18th September, 2020 in a private ceremony at the Maitama Juma’a Mosque in Abuja. It was gathered that the marriage was delayed till the day it finally held after the controversy that followed the rumoured affair between Sadiya Farouq and President Buhari, and was facilitated by the First Lady, Aisha Buhari. While Sadiya is said never to have been married before and has no kids, her new husband has 10 children from two marriages, one of which he has since divorced.
