Pastor Isaiah Okechukwu, a Nigerian clergy and the founder of a South African-based church, Abba Father Ministries, has vowed to place Pastor Godwin Onoruoiza, the pastor in the viral video narrating his sack by Winners Chapel, on a hundred thousand naira monthly salary for the next 5 years pending when he finds his feet.
Recall that the Living Faith Bible Church popularly known as Winners Chapel had sacked about 40 pastors a week ago, for low income generation. The Senior Pastor and founder of the church, Bishop David Oyedepo said the Pastors are unfruitful and blatant failure, and there is no need keeping them.
Reportedly speaking in a Facebook post on Monday, SaharaReporters reported that Pastor Isaiah Okechukwu compared Oyedepo’s action to that of Nigerian businessman, Obi Cubana, saying the clergy needs to learn from the businessman. He then shared a screenshot of his first payment of N100,000 to Pastor Godwin, promising to pay him for the next 5 years.

“This reason why some people are not condemning Bishop David Oyedepo is because he is the Godfather to their spiritual fathers and for that they have become imbeciles who cannot speak up and talk. The same godfatherism in politicians lives is the same game that is being played in the church of God. Indeed Oyedepo and some of our fathers have a lot to learn from Obi Cubana”, SaharaReporters said he wrote.
