Yesterday Remininsce Mackie fondly called Remmy Ma, was awarded the new queen of rap by BET over Nicki Minaj. The member of Fat Joe crew plainly shaded the former rap goddess Nicki Minaj in her acceptance speech.
Fortunately for Nicki who has won the award for the past seven years, she was allegedly absent. In her speech she said, “I want to thank God, first and foremost,” she said. “I’ve been through a lot. To everybody who thinks there’s no such thing as second chances, I’m here to tell you, that’s a lie. You just gotta keep working hard.
Shout out to everybody in Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, Albion Correctional Facility, anybody on parole, it’s hard but you can do it. You can make mistakes and come back.” And not forgetting throwing some shades, she said “Y’all bitches got fat while we starved,” she rapped. “Shots in your ass, pads in your bras / Y’all some liars, it ain’t no facts in your songs / And yeah, that crown is coming back to the Bronx.”
