One of Nigeria’s hottest musical properties, the fast-rising singer, Buju had earlier today in a tweet announced the official change of his stage name from Buju to “BNXN” to be pronounced “Benson”. The singer is believed to have made the move to change his name to avoid copyright infringement with the foremost Nigerian singer, Buju Banton. 
Buju is now to be addressed as “BNXN”, and Nigerians on Twitter are having a field day with the new name.
Buju’s tweet read:
“It’s no longer “Buju” Call me “Benson” written as ‘BNXN’.

Here some artiste who had changed their stage name after hitting fame with their previous alias, 2face changed his name to 2baba, Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel, Buju to BNXN Santi to Cruel Santino Wizkid to Big Wiz Poe to Ladipoe.
