Lionel Messi will consider his Paris Saint-Germain future and the merits of signing a contract extension only after the culmination of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. the Seven-time Ballon d’Or winner has a year to run on his current deal.
Messi hasn’t been presented with an official contract offer yet, but the club is showing its willingness to make it happen.

Messi wants to concentrate on beginning the season well with PSG and then trying to win the World Cup with Argentina, with the November-December tournament in Qatar likely to be his last opportunity.
