One of football star Benjamin Mendy’s alleged rape victims has admitted she felt pressured by police to help bring charges against him.
The victim informed a court that she never saw the act as rape but was fell compelled by the police to press rape charges against him.

Furthermore, the woman reiterated the fact that he considers Mendy a friend and the act happened in his house.
The woman, 22 at the time, is one of three women allegedly raped by Mendy during a pool party at his mansion in Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire, in July 2021. When first questioned she told officers she did not want to get involved.

The woman maintained that the police are trying all their best to drag her into the situation, as she was not in any way interested in the case.
Manchester City and Pep Guardiola have frozen Mendy out of the team since the inception of the case. The trial will continue at Chester crown court.
