Nollywood veteran Emeka Ike has reacted to the video by fellow actor Gideon Okeke where he called out film makers over the poor treatment of actors. The actor took to his Instagram page to respond and attached a lengthy note speaking extensively on the issue.
Emeka Ike in his post shared that he fought against this battle many years ago in the industry but was labelled bad and insulted by his own colleagues. He shared that people in Nollywood are friends with the people in government and are greatly benefitting from the lack of structure in the industry. He said TV stations in the country and DSTV live off their sweat and effort without paying anything in return. He said the people in-house sold them out.
