Nigerian nightlife entrepreneur Obi Cubana has again, spoken about the days of his early beginnings, narrating how he had met and started dating his wife, Ebere Iyiegbu, and the condition he was in at the time.

Obi Cubana has been the talk of the town since he threw an extravagant party for his mother, in celebration of her life well lived and her transition to the great beyond. The room, he said, had no bed, except for a mattress they would put on the floor to sleep on. He further revealed that they got married and had their kids in a 3 bedroom apartment.

He stated further their togetherness is not about the money he has now, but peace and love. “I started dating my wife when I was living in one room (apartment). Was it even 1 room? We were like 4 guys. We were actually like 4 guys staying inside one room without bed. The foam was on the floor. I married her when I was living in a 3 bedroom flat in Garki. We had our 2 children there, we were happy. Some people are very rich, they do not have happiness, they can’t find it. But the happiness that flows within is when you have a woman who is ready to keep the home as peaceful as possible because peace brings about prosperity.

Schooling on the impact of money in a marriage, Obi Cubana stated that money does not keep a marriage but of course, money makes marriage easier. He further stated that money has a stake in divorce as the richer one is, the more tendency one has to get divorced. “Money does not keep marriage but money makes marriage easier, yes, granted. So most of the divorce cases – the richer you are, the more tendency of you to get divorced”, he said.
