Rising Star: Meet Nollywood’s Light-Skinned Miss Petite Temitope Solaja

She was born and breed in Shagamu, Ogun State, her parents are also from Shagamu. She is the firstborn of her parents but brought up by her mother because her parents parted ways due to a divorce. She is a Christian, although she was brought by Muslim parents.

Temitope Solaja has revealed that her chest and legs are the driving force that makes her attractive to men at all times and also get their attention. She recently said “I maintain my stature and my skin. I hate anything artificial. “I also think I cherish my face a lot. That’s because I have no pimples and it’s beautiful. I did not do anything to influence it. I’m just blessed without pimples. Men commend my chest and my beautiful legs. They just like my legs and chest, I can’t say more than that.”

Temitope Solaja attended the Ohani Nursery and Primary School in Shagamu, Ogun State. Where she obtained her First Leaving School Certificate. She obtained her Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) from the Ikene Community High School (ICHS), Ikene Remo, Ogun State.

In 2007, she gained admission into the Tai Solarin University of Education to study Mass Communication. Temitope Solaja’s acting career started in 2007 when she auditioned to be an acting extra (among the witches extras) in the movie titled: “Bamitale” by Afeez Eniola aka “Onile Ere”.

She has featured mostly in Yoruba movies, she featured only once in an English Nollywood movie: “The Antique” (2014) directed by Dj Tee, written and produced by Darasen Richards.
In 2015, Temitope wrote and produced her first movie titled: “Aruga”, directed by renowned actor, writer, and director Antar Laniyan. She got her nickname from the movie title owning to the movie successes.

In 2017, she produced the movie titled: “Ashabi Akata” directed by Ibrahim Yekini (Itele d’icon), written by Azeezat Shoronmu, and featuring lead stars like Bimbo Oshin, Niyi Johnson, and Jumoke George. As an entrepreneur, Temitope Solaja owns an exquisite fashion outfit named: Star Girl Luxury Store that deals in original natural human hair and selected ladies wear.
