Man United ‘Set To Sign’ Super Eagles Wilfred Ndidi In January

Manchester United has reportedly started working on a bid to sign Super Eagles international Leicester City defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi come, the January transfer window. Wilfred Ndidi

Man United had failed to sign a capable defensive midfielder last summer to help shore up its defensive midfield position which has seen Brazilian midfielder Fred and former Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic both fail woefully over the last couple of seasons to provide the kind of solidarity in the base of midfield that will help protect the two central and the Man United defenders in total.

But rather Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signed off on the signing of Raphael Varane, Jason Sancho, and Cristiano Ronaldo, with getting secured DM to help improve his side defensive frailties

According to a new report by Fichajes, Manchester United may now look to secure a deal for Ndidi in January.

The club sees Ndidi as a safe risk-free signing who will immediately improve the midfield department while they sign their long-term target, Declan Rice in the summer. Ndidi, 24, has made nine starts in all competitions this campaign, and has been one of the premier league’s best defensive midfielders in the last three seasons.
