Concerned UNILAG Students Walk Against Rape

Cries of ‘solidarity forever’ rocked University Road, Yaba a few minutes ago and a group of students of the University of Lagos UNILAG came into limelight, carrying placards and banners.
The group named Concerned Great Akokites trooped out in their tens for a walk against the increased cases of rape across the nation, themed Black Friday Campaign Against Rape.UNILAG Concerned Students Walk Against Rape
Our correspondent, who spoke to some of the participants reported that the campaign is divided into two folds – the physical walk and the online campaign with hashtags #AkokitesBlackFriday and #AkokitesSayNoToRape.
