Human Rights activist and the Convener of the #EndSARS movement Segun Awosanya, popularly known as Segalink, as well as public sector reform advocate and Barrister Joe Abah have both pulled out of the virtual meeting the Nigerian Government, through the Youths Ministry has called them to.
“I believe it’s best I state categorically that the #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG Advocacy/Movement is clearly different from the youth PROTEST playing before our eyes, which started as an organic expression of discontent until other agenda crept in. I won’t be participating here“, Segalink said on Twitter.
Joe Abah, on the other hand, noted that the was supposed to be a moderator at the virtual meeting and will not be continuing with the duty since Falz withdrew. He, however, urged the youths to take advantage of the meeting to speak directly with the IGP and Ministry of Youths.

“Following @falzthebahdguy’s withdrawal from this event & the absence of more youth voices, I will regrettably no longer be moderating this event. I was only ever meant to be the moderator. Nothing else. I suggest that the format for the event be changed to hear more youth voices“, he tweeted.
Dear @falzthebahdguy, can you please provide me with more information (if necessary by DM) so that I can decide whether or not to participate. Thanks. https://t.co/EZncTgTi7M
