Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers has reportedly verbally agreed to take over as Manchester United manager.
According to the top football website, CaughtOffside, Rodgers has impressed United’s owners in his time as Leicester boss, winning the FA Cup with the Foxes last season and turning the side into regular challengers for the top four.

Manchester United suffered another home humiliation as Manchester City cruised to a 2-0 win at Old Trafford on Saturday to raise further questions over the future of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s position at Old Trafford looks increasingly dire after the team’s poor recent form, with six defeats from their last 12 in all competitions, including recent defeats at home to Liverpool and Manchester City.
According to the reports, progress is being made on appointing Brendan Rodgers at the Theatre Of Dreams, although his preference would be to wait until next season.
The report adds that United would want to bring Rodgers in sooner, but discussions remain ongoing between all parties involved.

A source close to the deal told CaughtOffside:
“Brendan Rodgers to Manchester United…he’s agreed on it, there’s just question marks over when he’ll take over. That could be at the end of the season, which he would prefer, but United are pushing for now.”
Brendan Rodgers previously enjoyed great success at Liverpool and Celtic before his current role at Leicester, and it seems he’s now ready for the huge challenge of reviving a struggling United side filled with talented players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Raphael Varane, Marcus Rashford, Edison Cavani, Paul Pogba etc.
