KOKOnisto Of The Day: Mai Atafo The Fashion Pioneer

The Nigerian fashion icon, Ohimai Atafo, was born in Osun state into a family of nine. After finishing his primary, secondary and Tertiary education, Atafo later earned a master’s degree from the City University UK in Information System and Technology. After coming back and joined Guinness Nigeria, Atafo started his bespoke clothing line, Mai Atafo Inspired, which gained media acclamation by clothing celebrities such as Bank W, Omowunmi Akinnifesi and so on.

After the success of his parent line, he launched a wedding line called weddings by Mai.  In 2009 he was named the City People Fashion and Style, Hottest New Male Designer, In 2010 he was named Mode Men, Best Dressed Man of the Year and as going to bag many fashion awards.
