The young fresh and new English boys have proven they are a different bunch cut-out of a different fabric from the older generations. They’ve ripped the script in the second round of the Euro 2020, as England defeats Germany 2-0 to book their place at the Euros quarter-finals helping to complete the banishment of the 3 of the 5 top favorites to win the competition.
Raheem Sterling continues to be the English sides player of the tournament scoring his 3rd goal of the competition in the second half of the match before Tottenham Hotspur’s superstar striker Harry Kane doubled England’s advantage with a diving header so as to confirm Germany’s exist.

Harry Kane finally turns up and scores his first goal of the competition to help get England across the line into the quarter-finals. His goal came minutes after Germany veteran midfielder Thomas Mueller had missed a one-on-one goalscoring opportunity for his side.
The Harry Kane goal came from a midfield steal by Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw who robs Serge Gnarby of the ball and ran into space in the midfield before rolling a pass across the box to Jack Grealish clipped perfectly measured cross for Harry Kane head into the back of the net from there on it was sweet home Vienna.

Gareth Southgate finally lets the shackles of the English lads with them taking the initiative all game, dominating possession and tackles in the first half before the Germans made a fair comeback in the second round. But the impetus was already with English lads and they finally broke the hoodwink and made their passion count this time around.
