Mr. Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development has ordered the immediate demolition of Dominion and EAN hangars to pave way for expansion of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Two (MMIA 2), Lagos.

Keyamo stated this on Thursday at the Lagos Airport during the tour of the facilities.

Keyamo further expressed dismay about the unkempt environment at the airport, giving various orders for the ares to be kept clean.

In other news, The Ebonyi State Commissioner for Aviation and Technology, Ngozi Obichukwu has said there is no sit-at-home order in Ebonyi that could prevent or affect Airport activities and flight movements in the state.

Obichukwu made the claims while speaking to newsmen at the Chuba Okadigbo’s Airport Onueke, Ezza South LGA of Ebonyi State.

She said the state government led by Governor Francis Nwifuru has provided adequate security in the airport to ensure the protection of all travellers in the state.

The Commissioner also announced the operation of foreign airlines at the airport, adding that Ebonyi State is the safest state for travellers.
