Jadon Sancho Agrees Personal Terms With Manchester United Ahead of £110m Transfer

Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is a step closer to getting his move to Manchester United after agreeing personal terms over a transfer to Old Trafford.

The 20-year-old has made it clear to Dortmund that he would like to return to England this summer and United have led the way for the winger’s signature for the last 18 months.

Dortmund have stood firm over their £108m valuation of the former Manchester City ace and they look set to get their asking price after United intimated their willingness to pay the sum in three instalments.

Negotiations with Sancho were considered a formality given the midfielder’s desire to move to the Theatre of Dreams but he’s set to become one of the highest earners in the Premier League on a salary of £220,000-a-week, according to reports.

Dortmund want the deal finalised in the next 10 days and United hope to have him at the club by the end of the week. Alexis Sanchez is set to join Inter Milan on a free transfer as United forgoed a fee in under to offload the Chilean.

Sanchez’s £500,000-a-week wages have proved prohbitive, both to United and to interested parties.

However, with Sanchez out the door, funds have been freed up and Sancho is set to profit by landing a huge salary increase.

Sancho is also set to take the no.7 shirt vacated by the Chilean and United will be hoping he can reverse the fortunes of previous owners such as Angel Di Maria, Memphis Depay and Michael Owen.

Once Sancho’s move is complete, United will focus their attention on signing a centre-back and a central midfielder. Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish is a target but United are unwilling to pay the club’s £75m asking price, as they value him at closer to £55m.
