“F* The Money! This Motherf*er Quit!” – Deontay Wilder Blasts Anthony Joshua Over Shock Andy Ruiz Jr Loss

WBC Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has launched an explicit, raging attack on ‘quitter’ Anthony Joshua after the Brit suffered a shock defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr.

Joshua, 29, struggled throughout and was floored four times before the fight was stopped in the seventh round. AJ lost his WBO, WBA, IBO and IBF titles in the process as his undefeated professional record came to a crashing end.

Wilder, though, still has his WBC belt and his unbeaten record remains in tact, after brutally knocking out Dominic Breazeale in the first round last month. But Joshua’s rival was fuming that he did not put up enough of a fight against the relatively-unknown Ruiz.

Wilder blasted on 78SportsTV: “F* the money! This motherf*er quit! You work out f*ing 24 hours a day, even in your sleep. And you quit? You said, ‘No mas!’ You let this small guy come up and [you] quit. I thought it was gonna be a 12-round fight at least. But he f*ing quit! The most thing I’m mad about is he quit. He quit.”

Wilder announced plans to have a rematch with Luis Ortiz and then wants to step back in the ring with Tyson Fury after their mammoth bout in December ended in a draw. The victory over Breazeale was Wilder’s 42nd professional fight and the ninth time he had retained his WBC belt.

The Bronze Bomber reckons he earned his world title but AJ was gifted his – and revealed what it would take for someone to claim the world title from him.

Wilder added: “I earned mine. They gave it to him, and that’s the difference. When you have to earn something, when you coming from the bottom, you ain’t going back, no matter what it is. As a champion, as a true champion, if I have to turn into the Bronze Bomber – like I said, when I’m in the ring, I don’t mean no good for nobody. You’re gonna have to kill me in the ring. These guys gotta kill me in that ring. They’ve gotta literally kill me, because my heart ain’t gonna let them beat me. My will ain’t gonna let them beat me.

“My determination ain’t gonna let them beat me. That’s why life can never beat me, because I ain’t never quit in life. I ain’t never let it defeat me, because my heart won’t allow it. My passion, my love, my determination won’t allow life to kick me in the ass and keep me down.

But when you get a guy like that, and everything’s given to you, you don’t know how to bounce back when you have hard times. They just don’t know how. And then you gonna go in there and quit? Out of all that s*, that was the most upsetting part about it all.” And Wilder did not hold back on Twitter either.

He fumed: “He wasn’t a true champion. His whole career was consisted of lies, contradictions and gifts. Facts and now we know who was running from who!!!! The worst thing you can do in life is F*ing Quit!!”
