ExSuper Eagles international striker Obafemi Martins, makes another mouth-watering deal despite being 35 years-old as he joins Chinese Super League side, Wuhan FC on a one-year deal.
Obagol joins Wuhan FC on a free transfer after ending his mouth-watering contract with Shanghai Shenhua, which only last 7-months. He signed for Shanghai Shenhua in Feburary and ended his contract last week.
Report has it that Shanghai Shenhua were not happy with Obafemi Martins performances and as such had to let him go.
Wuhan is currently fourth in the CSL Group B table with 16 points from 11 games.
Wuhan faces Chongqing Dangdai Lifan in their next game and Martins should have no problem being in the starting line up. His addition to the Chinese Super League side is expected to add quality and depth to the club’s attacking option.
