Nigerian-French singer and songwriter Bukola Elemide, popularly known as Asa has had another moment to speak about how she spends most time of her life, and she thinks her everyday of her life has always been a lockdown.
Asa revealed this as she host Ndani TV’s The Juice crew with Bolanle Olukanni in her home, for the chat-show. If there is one thing she loved about the year full of happenings, Asa will definitely pick the serenity and surreal state, where there were no car honks, boat on the sea and all the noises.
“How’s your 2020”, Bolanle Olukanni asked. “2020 I know we’ll never forget this year but I think everyday of my life has always been a lockdown. I’m usually almost in isolation all the time so this time it wasn’t very hard for me. It was like I’ve lived this every day of my life. I actually enjoyed and got to see what actual silence means. We didn’t have boats on the water and we could see fishes jumping out, birds were out, the sky was blue and we didn’t hear the sounds of cars, it was just surreal.” Read also: I’ve Never Been Lucky With Love – Asa Speaks, Bares Her Life In Lucid
Also during this time I’ve been writing a lot, I’ve been working with a lot of producers so, honestly, it was just okay. I was surfing and when people complain, I’m like what are you saying, I loved it, I enjoyed it, sometimes I take a book out and read, it’s just been my routine everyday. “, she said.
