The Football Association (FA) are investigating Arsenal’s celebrations following theirs surprising comeback win against Bournemouth last Saturday at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners were stunned when Philip Billing fired the Cherries ahead in just 9 seconds to make it the second fastest goal in the history of the English Premier League.
Marco Senesi scored the second goal, heading into the back of the net from a cornerkick to further dent the Gunners hopes but Arsenal responded with a goal from Thomas Partey and Benjamin White.

Reiss Nelson’s 97th minute leveler sent chaotic scenes at the Emirates Stadium from a spilled corner kick which he fired accurately to Bournemouth’s goalie, Neto’s left to beat the Brazilian. The Arsenal’s coaching staff including the entire bench ran towards Nelson to celebrate the goal that restored their five point lead at the top of the English Premier League table.
It has now emerged that referee Chris Kavanagh included the incident in his post-match report which he submitted to the FA.
Now, the English game’s governing body is now looking into what happened as a matter of major concern.
