Nigerian singer and songwriter, Burna Boy has revealed that his recent project, Twice As Tall which was produced by music executive, Diddy was done without any charge.
Speaking during a recent interview, the African Giant as he is fondly referred to, explained that no money was given to the popular music producer for his efforts.
He also explained that the purpose of the album was for it to serve as a bridge linking people of color globally.“I wanted this [album] to build a stronger bridge between, basically, all people of color… The album was already about 80 percent done before I got Diddy involved. Getting him involved — first of all — me and Diddy are now one bridge. Then, it’s like a tree; it just keeps going.
“That’s the bridge… and it goes far beyond that… because — guess what — Diddy didn’t take no money from me. He gets two points royalties, which he gives back to me, so I can take care of some other sh*t.”Photo Credit: Instagram
