Child Rights International have written a petition to the Inspector-General of Police in Ghana to investigate the actress Akuapem Poloo over a naked photo of her and her seven-year-old son which went viral online some days back.  
The actress Akuapem Poloo posted a nude photo of her and her 7-year-old son who was clad only in underwear on her social media platform to celebrate his 7th birthday. She came out later to give her reason behind the photoshoot as to being because she gave to him naked. Though the actress apologised after coming heavy criticism and social media backlash.
But in a statement by Child Rights International, the non-governmental organisation deemed her act as a ‘violation of the welfare principle of the Children’s Act and abuse of the child’s right to privacy and dignity.’
The Child Rights International also called for the investigation of the actress.
