Ace Broadcaster Dan Foster Dies Of COVID-19

Ace American-Nigerian broadcaster Dan Foster has passed away, with reports and close sources revealing that he had died of COVID-19.
The death of the journalist was announced by his colleague and friend Oscar Oyinsan who shared the news on his Instagram page.

Dan Foster had been down with COVID-19, and admitted and treated at Yaba Isolation Centre where he breathed his last. Oyinsan posted a picture of the deceased, noting that they had both spoken the week before, before the news of his death broke. “2020 you are RUDE….we still spoke upper week dawg. @thedanfoster NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ???????. Please Lord …if this year is test…pls pls just stop …pls. Lord have mercy…please“, he wrote.

The Big Dawg as he is popularly called had worked with numerous radio stations including Cathy Hughes Radio One, Mix 106.5 both in America, and Virgin Island-based WTBN before moving to Nigeria in 2000 where he joined Cool FM. In September 2009, Dan Foster left Cool FM for Inspiration FM and then left in 2014 to join City FM. In May 2016, he left City FM 105.1 for Classic FM 97.3 radio station where he worked before he passed on.Photos Credit: Instagram
