You Can’t Be A Feminist And A Christian – Reno Omokri

Nigerian author and self-acclaimed Buhari Tormentor, Reno Omokri has said there is no correlation between feminism and Christianity and at such, a Christian cannot be a feminist, and vice-versa.
“You can be a feminist, or you can be a Christian. But you can’t be a feminist and a Christian. A Christian wife must submit to her husband. A feminist does not submit to a man. Thus, feminism (as is currently defined) cant coexist with Christianity”, he tweeted.
As usual and expected, many tweeps do not agree with him and he took his time to respond to one of them, quoting a Bible passage that says women should be submissive to their husbands. “My marriage to my beauty queen wife and my preference for organic food, are my opinions. But the contradiction between feminism and Christianity is not my opinion. Ephesians 5:22 makes it a fact: “Wives, SUBMIT yourselves to your husbands””, he wrote.

In another tweet, Reno then gave men a tip on hoe to stay in authority in their homes, and have their wives submit to them. According to him, they need not be afraid of their wives if they provide for their homes. “When I hear that men are afraid of their wives I don’t get it. Have absolute authority in your home by singlehandedly providing a comfortable (luxurious if you can afford it) life for everyone under your roof. Do this and your word will be law there”, he added.
