The National Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) yesterday announced that 437 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Sunday, August 9.
According to the (NCDC), Lagos recorded 107 new cases, FCT-91, Plateau-81 cases . Other states with new cases include Kaduna – 32, Ogun – 30, Kwara – 24, Ebonyi – 19, Ekiti – 17, Oyo – 8, Borno – 6, Edo – 6, Kano – 4, Nasarawa – 3, Osun – 3, Taraba – 3, Gombe – 2 and Bauchi – 1.
Nigeria now has 46,577 confirmed cases of the viral disease with 33,186 patients discharged so far. Sadly, 945 deaths have so far been recorded.
