The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has in its latest COVID-19 update created a massive call-out after it was realised that in the new update released the NCDC discharged a total of 11,188 COVID-19 patients in the last 24 hours. 
304 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Tuesday, August 4, while a total of 288 new cases were recorded across the country on Monday, August 3rd.
According to statistics released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, the FCT topped the list with 90 new cases and Lagos with 59 cases. Other states with new cases include Ondo – 39, Taraba – 18, Rivers – 17, Borno – 15, Adamawa – 12, Oyo – 11, Delta – 9, Edo – 6, Bauchi, Kwara, Ogun and Osun each having 4 cases, Bayelsa, Plateau and Niger each having 3 cases, Nasarawa – 2 and Kano – 1.
