Following the statement made by the governor of Borno state, Prof. Babagana Zulum on the growth of Boko Haram menace, political activist Reno Omokri has made few comments in that regard.
Recall that Zulum said the Boko Haram menace the country is faced with for some years now has grown beyond just only Nigerians that it has more interest of international diversity and it is being sponsored from outside the country’s borders.
He said the Boko Haram the country is faced with now has white men, Asians, Christians and even other Africans in their midst and that’s defeating the menace of insecurity and the joint effort of the entire country, not just a religion or state is needed.
However, Reno has replied him, saying that Tribalism and religion has blinded the governor, and that the children in Borno they they refused to train well is the cause for the murderous acts in the North and not Christians.
“…Now you want to blame Christians for the murderous behaviour of your own children you refused to educate. Useless idiot. Tribalism and religion has blinded you!”
The political activist also made mention of the Boko Haram converts the president have been rehabilitating and none have claimed to be a Christian. Besides, when the North lacked assistance and support, Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola who is a Christian reached out to the Northeast Nigerians.
“Governor Zulum did not remember to thank Otedola for that. But he definitely remembered to falsely accuse Christians of being among Boko Haram. Their useless Buhari government has been rehabilitating thousands of so called ‘repentant’ Boko Haram for years. Pray, can Zulum tell us how many of them are professing Christians? You refuse to educate your own people and then when the inevitable happens, you open your mouth and accuse others.” He said.

Reno went further to say; “If a Christian uttered the rubbish Zulum uttered, Nigeria would be on fire. Take Kukah’s Christmas message. No mention of Islam. Yet, JNI, MURIC and Sharia Council of Nigeria want to crucify him. I believe in unity, but not unity at all cost. If we can’t stay together peacefully, perhaps we should go our separate ways!”
