Afroswing and electronic funk singer Zinoleesky finally drops his official debut studio project, titled “Chrome”. The social media sensation with an avant-garde style of music finally gives us more of his melodic voice.
Zinoleesky who used to perform alongside his partner-in-crime, Lil Frosh, who was signed to the DMW label, via Aloma’s imprint AMW. Word on the street has it that Zinoleesky rejected the opportunity to be signed on the DMW label and rather went with his heart to sign with the Shepeteri King Naira Marley.
Zinoleesky signed with Naira Marley’s record label, in December 2019, Marlian Music alongside with four other artists.
Zino wraps up the year in style as he drops the fine body of work Chrome, his debut body of work. On it, he showcases his Oritse Femi-esque Yoruba Folk-heavy voice type. In a lot of ways, he shares similarities with Bella Shmurda, Yonda and even Qdot due to their respective mastery of vocal manipulations.
The project is largely based around topics of providence, God, love and sex.
