Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has opened up on her experience after birthing her child Ryan Roberts, revealing how she was almost depressed at a point.
The mother of one, in a recent interview with on UTV’s United Showbiz with Nana Ama McBrown.
Yvonne Nelson, who had welcomed her baby in 2017 for British photographer Jamie Roberts, noted that it has been so hard for her and at some point, she was almost depressed. Giving the reason for the hardship to be because her baby daddy was not in Ghana with her to raise the baby, Yvonne added that she had to combine schooling with taking care of Ryan and then shooting movies together. “It’s been hard, at some point depression almost set in. I gained so much weight. And because I have been parenting alone since her father doesn’t live in Ghana, it has been tough. At some point, I started schooling and I had to combine it with shooting and taking care of Ryan“, she said.
