Boko Haram: “You Know About It”, Buhari Faults Borno Leaders Over Attacks

President Buhari has faulted the leaders and statesmen of Auno community and over the recent Boko Haram insurgency on residents, saying they are aware of the attacks before it was launched.
Recall that KOKOTV reported how President Buhari had visited the state yesterday and was booed away. He paid a condolence visit over the attack which claimed 30 lives in Auno community of Konduga Local Government Area of the state.Boko Haram: "You Know About It", Buhari Faults Borno Leaders Over Attacks
Faulting the leaders of the state, President Buhari said an attack could not have been launched on the community without the knowledge of the leaders, adding that the local leadership is in charge of security in their own respective areas. He then appealed to the local leaders in Borno to support the government in the fight against Boko Haram insurgents.
Boko Haram or whatever they are cannot come to Maiduguri or its environs without the local leadership knowing, the local leadership is in charge of security in their own respective areas. With my understanding of our culture, I wonder how Boko Haram survives up to this end. I urge the people of the state to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies; let us deny Boko Haram access to our loyal citizens and encourage displaced people to go back to their land
