Yul Edochie announced his intention to run in the 2019 Presidential election on Monday.
A Nigerian who’s not welcoming the idea has advised the actor to try becoming “Nollywood President” before going further.
“You have to start from Nollywood president first then You can proceed from there my man,” the tweep said in response to the Yul Edochie announcement via Twitter.
Yul Edochie, who want to represent APGA in the forthcoming elections, is counting on Nigerians to stand with him and his party to bring the problems of the country to the “last bus stop.”
In November 2017 the Nollywood star and son veteran actor, Pete Edochie, lost out to Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in his bid to become governor of Anambra State. He polled 145 votes as the Democratic Peoples Congress (DPC) candidate in the governorship election.
