Nigerian socio-activist Aisha Yesufu has expressed her disappointment in the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo for the launch of the Federal Government’s Special Public Works Programme in his Local Government Area. Recall that the Federal Government has promised to provide employment through the programme to 774,000 youths across the 774 local government areas in the nation, totaling 1,000 youths from each area.Announcing the launch in his own LGA, Festus Keyamo took to Twitter to celebrate. “As part of my activities last week, I travelled to Delta State to launch the Special Public Works Programme (774,000) jobs in my own Local Government Area (Uvwie LGA)“, he wrote. This didn’t go down well with Aisha Yesufu who reveals she calls the Minister brother. “I call him bros Oghenna! Bros fall hand! You were expected to help the youth fly not stay grounded and shackled! Imagine this being an achievement!“, she wrote.
