Nollywood actress Didi Ekanem has given reasons why strangers support someone’s business than the people they know.
The actress took to her Insta post to share her opinion on the matter, saying one need no friend to be successful in life.
According to her, it is coming from a place of hate if a friend doesn’t support their friends, leaving them hanging and only strangers support them.
She said it is because people you know can’t wrap their head around your growth, leaving them behind and thriving more than they are.
She said they don’t want such person to be successful or better than them so they decide not to support or help.
Didi Ekanem then said bluntly that no one needs their friends to grow they should do it on their own anyway and the strangers who don’t feel pressured about their success would support their business.

According to her;
“It is because people you know have the tough time of accepting the fact that you came from the same place while they are still at the same place…they don’t want you to be better than them, they don’t want to be a part of your growth, they don’t want you to be successful…you don’t need your friends to be successful. Let that sink in.”
