Yoruba Nation Rally, Adekunle Gold Cheating Rumour And Other Events Of The Weekend

1. The weekend started out like it is going to be a very silent one with no drama, although plans were said to be in place for Sunday Igboho’s Yoruba Nation rally. Supporters of Yoruba rights activist stormed Agege in Lagos State to canvass support and solidarity for establishment of the Yoruba Nation, and this became a talk of the town over the weekend.
2. Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo dropped a bombshell as to why she is having children out of wedlock and how men are still running after her despite being pregnant. Uche Ogbodo has always said she is celibate but a few weeks ago, she shared that she is expecting another baby and trolls would not just help but wonder how a celibate woman has a baby developing inside of her. Explaining that there are many ways to get pregnant in 2021, Uche OIgbodo revealed that she has tried marriage but it is not working for her and now, she just wants to have kids.3. Saturday seemed to be a day of violence as journalist Austin Ejekwe went viral for the busybody shots he fired at popular blogger Linda Ikeji. 5. Burna Boy made the news for 2 weekends straight – first when the Grammys went down and he clinched the best global music album and this weekend as he spoke a storm on his win. The Twice As Tall singer revealed that he would have won the Grammys since 2013 if the Nigerian environment was conducive and the Government took the youths seriously. He, however, fell into the traps of trolls as he insinuated he got the Grammys all by him self. Many tweeps slammed him, noting that he wouldn’t have achieved it without Diddy’s input.Burna Boy5. Goodluck Jonathan’s Presidential aide Doyin Okupe also made a  very sensitive statement about the 2023 Presidential race, leading him to the mud. In a tweet he shared, Doyin Okupe insinuated that Igbos can not smell Presidency until the core North forgives them for the death of the Sardauna of Sokoto in the 1966 military coup. A lot of Nigerians did not agree with his statement and they didn’t hesitate to drag him. He, however, apologised for his statement.
6. After seeing Sunday Igboho’s Yoruba Nation’s rally in Agege, Lagos, Sunday also witnessed the allegation of cheating against Afro Pop singer, Adekunle Gold. A follower of the popular gossip blog Gistlover shared that the singer is having a thing with the vixen he used for his Jore video. Some other witnesses came out to say the relationship had been ongoing for about a year now and Adekunle and the lady (with IG usernname Tenminikan) had had a quickie in the car while on sex.
