Yes! This Is What Juan Mata Has To Say About His Future At Manchester United

Juan Mata

Spain midfielder Juan Mata has finally opened up about his future as he nears the end of Manchester United contract. In a recent interview with Diario AS, Mata was asked whether he’s entertained the thought of a return to Spain once his contract expires in the summer. He replied: “I’ve been in England for a long time and I feel very comfortable there. I have adapted very well to the league and to the culture, but it’s natural that you miss your home, your family, and friends. But honestly I do not know if I will return to Spain in the near future, it is not something I have given a lot of thought to.” The 30-year-old moved from Valencia to England in 2011 to join Chelsea, before transferring to United in January 2014. Despite being free to negotiate with clubs outside of England, Mata emphasised he is focused on the work he faces in the remaining six months of his contract. He continued: “I am at Manchester United, one of the most important clubs in world football. That is all I am thinking about.”Photo Credit: Getty
