Pastor Tunde Bakare has not dropped his dream and prophecy to become Nigeria’s next president despite scoring zero votes at his party’s primary election.
In the recent convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) held at the Eagle Square in Abuja, last week, the National leader of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who polled 1,271 votes emerged as the APC’s presidential candidate for the 2023 general election.

While the former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo came second and third with 316 and 235 votes respectively, Pastor Bakare, former Imo governor, Rochas Okorocha; former information minister, Ikeobasi Mokelu; and the industrialist, Tein Jack-Rich, secured zero votes.

Tunde Bakare is a Nigerian Prophetic-Apostolic pastor. He was reportedly arrested in March 2002 after preaching sermons critical of then-president Olusegun Obasanjo. He was the running mate of the Nigerian presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari in the 2011 Nigerian presidential election.
