Yaba Jibowu Railway Crossing To Be Closed On Saturday – Lagos State Govt

Lagos State Government has announced the closure of Yaba Jibowu railway crossing from tomorrow Saturday 27th March to enable the continuation of the tracks laying.
This is coming amidst the Coronavirus pandemic that has placed the state on the pedestal of the part of Nigeria with the highest cases.Yaba Jibowu Railway Crossing To Be Closed On Saturday - Lagos State Govt
Announced via the official Twitter handle of the State,
The Lagos State Government has announced that the Jibowu and Yaba Level Crossing will be closed for the laying of tracks as part of the ongoing railway modernisation project. According to a statement issued by the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation, the Jibowu Level Crossing will be closed from Saturday, 28th March, 2020 to Monday, 30th March, 2020 between 6.00 pm and 6.00 am daily while Yaba Level Crossing will be closed on Tuesday, 31st March, 2020 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on the same day.

The release advised motorists intending to use the Jibowu axis during the construction period to make use of Ilupeju, Ogunmokun and Yaba Crossing to access Mushin Road, Oshodi and Surulere While on Tuesday when Yaba crossing will be closed, road users are advised to use Jibowu crossing to access their various destinations“, the tweets read.Yaba Jibowu Railway Crossing To Be Closed On Saturday - Lagos State Govt
