It is almost impossible to pick a winner in this week’s supermodel style showdown.
Joan Smalls and Gigi Hadid both showed their individually unique sartorial styles and highlight varied ways of how to work this three-piece Pamella Roland Pre-Fall 2018 ensemble complete with a blazer, trousers and a sheer corset.
Joan Smalls made a vivacious statement in the designer’s red at the ‘The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime’ screening in New York City, adding some bold allure to the suit. The sheer corset of the design with visible boning gave the trousers and jacket a sexiness.
In the case of Gigi, she wore the design to her younger sister Bella’s birthday celebrations in New York City. Gigi shed her Millennial Barbie image by wearing head-to-toe baby blue of the designs. The look offered a fresh twist on two on-trend silhouettes of suiting and the corset, and took the concept of monochrome dressing to the extreme.
The monochromatic baby-blue hue was both sleek and illuminating, and she carried it through her matching Stuart Weitzman custom dyed satin ‘Curvia’ pumps.
