Woman Gives Birth Aboard Evacuation Flight From UAE

A Nigerian woman identified as Kafayat Amusan reportedly gave birth to a bouncing baby boy aboard the evacutation flight conveying Nigerians from UAE.
Recall that KOKO TV reported how 256 Nigerians have been evacuated from the United Arab Emirates, as reported by the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission NIDCOM Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
She also announced the birth of the bundle of joy, saying the aircraft was forced to return after the birthing process.
The Nigerian Ambassador in Dubai, Ambassador Rimi and staff of the embassy are in touch with mother and child who are in good condition. Emirates Airline had to change to another aircraft which is now en route to Lagos with 265 returnees on board.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa congratulated Mrs Amusan for another addition in her family and praying she returns safely to the country, which however, will be after obtaining a birth certificate and other necessary travel documents for her baby boy.
She added that the plane, which was scheduled to arrive at 3pm is now expected to land at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport at 7pm.
