Woman And Daughter Killed While Trying To Stop Neighbour From Rape Attempt

A 49-year-old woman, Nkechinyere Nnaama, and her daughter Ifunanya, 16 have been reportedly murdered brutally by a flat mate as they made to stop an attempted rape on the teenager.
The evil incident was said to have taken place on in Wednesday 30th March 2021 after Nkechinyere reportedly returned home from school  only to find her male flat mate attempting to rape her daughter, Ifunanya. When she tried to raise an alarm, the suspect reportedly grabbed a hammer and hit her on the head before turning to Ifunanya.According to Facebook user, Amaka Okeagu, who shared the news on the social media platform, efforts were made to rescue Nkechinyere as neighbours tried to rush her to the hospital but unfortunately, she died on the way while her daughter passed away a day later, March 31.

The deceased will be laid to rest on Friday, June 4, 2021, in their hometown, Umuonaga village Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
