Nigerian pop star, Wizkid is the ultimate vintage star in a bold photoshoot for an exclusive interview with UK’s Hunger Magazine.
The Starboy records boss chose to let his cool urban style personality through as he was styled in colourful retro looks consisting of jumpers and bomber jackets which he rocked really well.
Styled by Theo White in looks by Liam Hodges, Astrid Andersen and Blood Brother and photographed by Hunger magazine’s Charlie Cummings, WizKid introduced the concept, sounds and influences on his forthcoming mixtape ‘Sounds from the Other Side’ and talked them through his rise to global success.
“I dont just make afrobets…I make music. I draw inspiration from all over. From dancehall reggae, afrobeat, american music as well. Whatever I listen to, I draw inspiration from.” he mentioned when asked if Afrobeats was his only genre and source of inspiration. See more photos from the shoot below:
