Following the end of their beef last year December, it seems the love between Davido and Wizkid, keeps growing in leaps and bound with each passing day.
The love and respect that exists between them came to the fore a few hours back when Wizkid stood up against a troll for his new ‘best friend’ Davido.
Davido, had started off the evening aken to Twitter, tweeting;
‘living ..loving .Laughing”
Not long after this tweet was posted, a Wizkid fan came for the LIKE THAT crooner saying he should continue living and loving while Wizkid keeps dropping all the hit songs.
“Be living,loving and laughing while @wizkidayo drops another hit on Monday by 1pm,Nigerian time”
Davido, of course, replied the troll letting him know he has no issues making hit songs, a knowledge known to millions across the globe.
At this point Wizkid chipped in, standing up for his ‘brother.’
Recall before their reconciliation last year, Wizkid spoke on the rivalry between them stating he pays no attention to beef.
In his chat with punch, Wizzy as he is fondly called said;
“I don’t dwell on things like that. Music is my focus, not rivalry. It’s all about making good music for me, and I believe that the sky is wide enough for all to fly.
“This year has been very great for me and I am thankful to God and all my fans. I have been very busy and it has been a roller-coaster for me. I don’t take it for granted, and I will always put my best into all that I do.
“It is about showcasing Nigeria to the world in the proper light, and I am glad that there is now more focus on African music. There are indeed a lot of talents out here.”
