Wilfred Ndidi Bags Leicester City Young Player Award

The Nigerian National team, Mid-fielder, Wilfred Ndidi has successfully picked up Leicester City Young Player Award for the second time in a row at 21. The award held on Tuesday at the King Power Stadium. He beat his colleagues, Ben Chilwell and Demarai Gray to take home the gong. Speaking to newsmen from Leicester City TV Channel after receiving the award, he said; “I feel great. It’s a proud moment for me. I’m very happy about it. Kudos to the fans for their support. They have been fantastic since I came here. We have had a lot of ups and downs this season but it’s good that we are safe.”
Ndidi was nominated severally for the Players’ Player of the Year and Player of the Year awards but lost out on the two to England center-back, Harry Maguire.
