Why Niniola Is The Only Singer Capable Of Replacing Tiwa Savage!

Tiwa Savage is presently the queen of Nigerian music and it’s time we crown the perfect heiress.

Omawumi and Waje were the leading female musicians before the arrival of Tiwa Savage in 2010 with the release of her debut song “Kele Kele Love” which was included in her first studio album, Once Upon a Time, released in 2013. Tiwa got signed to Don Jazzy’s record label, Mavin Records, as the First Lady in 2012, and has since fortified her place in the industry. In 2016, Tiwa also signed a management and publishing deal with Roc Nation.

Simi’s music career is still on high, Yemi Alade has placed herself as an African music queen, while Omawumi and Waje struggle to make it big again in the fast-growing Nigerian music business. The likes of Seyi Shay, Chidinma, Cynthia Morgan, and Eva have not been consistent, leaving Niniola as the only singer, capable of replacing Tiwa Savage for many reasons.

Niniola is one of the Nigerian music stars nominated for the 2018 BET Award along with Davido and Tiwa Savage. Davido won the International Best Act award, while Niniola lost the BET Viewer’s Choice award to South Africa’s Sjava.

Niniola and Tiwa Savage share some qualities including; energy, banging body, pop sound, dance styles, fashion sense and more. After hits including “Maradona,” “Sicker,” and “Soke,” Niniola entered the South African music market with “Magun” remix featuring Busiswa, and they both teamed together Muungu Africa for a new song titled “Lazaro.”
