Akube Things! A White Family Harassed Me In New York Because Of My Jeans – Sound Sultan

Veteran Nigerian Afro-pop singer Sound Sultan recently shared his an experience of his that took place 12 years back during a visit to New York, America. Sound Sultan

The singer narrated an experience of his on Instagram of how a White family kind off harassed all because of the Jeans he was wearing, he said he was out shopping and he noticed a white family kept following him from one store to another, so he decided to confront them and they said they were following him because they wanted to enquire from him where he bought the Jean he was wearing from.

Sound Sultan disclosed that the Denim Jeans was an Akube Jean he bought back home in Nigeria from a friend who sells clothes out of his car in Festac.

Sharing the photo of himself above, he wrote;

“(Ola -DRIP-pupo ) 12 years ago , A white family freaked me out when I went shopping in Newyork , they were following me from shop to shop .my NINJA skills made me notice .so I kinda made myself available to them .and they said their 8yr old son wants to ask where I got my pair of jeans from . I laughed and said eyaa! They replied what shop is hey ya .. Jean’s wey I buy from my guy car for festac.”
