Nollywood actress, producer, director and screenwriter Funke Akindele-Bello has opened up on how she felt when she and her husband were fined by Lagos State for breaching the COVID-19 protocol.
Recall that the thespian had held a birthday party for her husband alongside a host of others who were said to be working on a production with her, including singer Naira Marley.
Although the team were said to have been on the family’s set before the lockdown was declared and they held the party without external bodies, they didn’t observe the laid down COVID-19 protocols and had the couple serve some fine of community service and some more.
During the court hearing, Funke Akindele who is a vocal screen queen was seen covering her face many times and feeling devastated being in front of the camera.

She has, now opened up on hoe she felt at the time and most likely, why she was covering her face during the trial. In her interview with Chude, the mother of two revealed that she felt like dying and mentioned it one of those around her during the period. According to her, she and her husband were not guilty and she felt she should die to cover up all the embarrassment.
